Now let’s get right to the topic of my new podcast episode today: Sexual Feng Shui. You might already guess where this is going. But I am pretty sure you haven’t considered some things I am going to share with you.
Feng Shui an ancient Chinese metaphysic philosophy to harmonize everyone with the surrounding environment. Its guidelines take into account compass, directions, colors, natural elements like wood, minerals, fire, water, and earth.
But what’s most interesting for us here is the Feng Shui in our bed room. If there is hardly anything happening in your marriage or partnership sexually, you might consider to give your bed room an energetic cleansing. At least that’s what the Feng Shui experts claim. Lillian Too, who has written 16 books on Feng Shui says, ‘The structures around you also emanate energy and if these structures are placed in a harmonious fashion based on feng shui guidelines, you can attract good energy, and therefore you can attract good fortune and good luck.’
In this episode, we get into detail about:
- About how to rearrange your bedroom for manifesting great, passionate sex?
- Why it all starts with creating the space together?
- The removing clutter movement.
- A room made out of twos.
- Why water is killing the fire?
- What’s the best power position for your bed and why you cannot hide stuff underneath your bed in front of your subconscious? It knows it all!
- Colors, colors, colors
- And some extra (funny) tips for the very esoteric Feng Shui lovers.

Welcome to this podcast episode! I am happy you zoned in with me. On those juicy topics I am about to share with you. But before we start, I’d like to talk about my own process, here. Yes, I am a human being myself and yes, it hasn’t been always easy to follow my passions and my true destiny. Sometimes we simply have to do other things in order to realize that this is not the right path. Anyway, since I am blogging about all those juicy topics and sharing with you fragments from my own sexual evolution I am more and more aligned with what the universe has prepared for me. Only recently I discovered that I wannaright a book! Where I want to share aaalll the treasures I discovered over the years of sexual healing. Anyway, I send an e-mail out through my newsletter to ask YOU for help. What you would like to read in a book about Self-pleasure and Self-love. And I am so touched, omg, I got so many e-mails back, highly motivating e-mails, for me to get started with this project. I am a bit nervous as English is not my mother tongue… and also the fear of the book being not useful for you. But it’s all part of this evolution to stick with it and continue the practice of self-love as this is the basis, which allows us to do great things.
Anyway, after my soul striptease, now let’s get right to the topic today- Sexual Feng Shui. You might already guess where this is going. But I am pretty sure you haven’t considered some things I am going to share.
Feng shui guidelines take into account compass, directions, colors, natural elements like wood, minerals, fire, water, and earth. It’s an ancient Chinese metaphysic philosophy to harmonize everyone with the surrounding environment.
But what’s most interesting for us here is the Feng-Shui in your bed room. Most obvious… If there is hardly anything happening in your marriage or partnership sexually. You might consider to give your bed room an energetic cleansing. At least that’s what the Feng-Shui experts claim. Lillian Too who has written 16 books on Feng-Shui says, ‘The structures around you also emanate energy and if these structures are placed in a harmonious fashion based on Feng-Shui guidelines, you can attract good energy, and therefore you can attract good fortune and good luck.’
So, everyone who is sexual frustrated should start today rearranging their bedroom, because there should be a lot of space for spiritual and physical relaxation and of course sex…
Actually inn Feng-Shui, romance begins in the yin (feminine) vibration of your bedroom. Excite the ch’i (life-force, energy) by making your bedroom romantic. So now some basic ways to erotically charge your bedroom with yummy sex positive energy and guidelines of Feng-Shui.
Create the space together.First you want to create your love space together. So discuss your needs and wishes and decide together on colors and furniture. But make sure it’s more or less in one style.
Remove all clutter. So positive energy can flow in the room. Clutter may, regarding to Feng-Shui, block the flow of ch´i. Feng-Shui experts take it even further, they say, that you should remove anything that reminds you of past lovers, photos, love letters, presents and gifts, yes even stuff from your parents. You could even consider to change your mattress.
Have everything twice. According to Feng-Shui guidelines you should get rid of items associated with loneliness. Instead of one vase, have two, instead of a single photograph, have the two of you. Everything should be arranged in pairs to symbolize the union. Have two candles on a dresser. Yes, even self-help books are disturbing.
Avoid Pointy things. They may produce a strong masculine dry resonance, so replace those items with natural curvy things.
Avoid Plants. Wow, I love my plants. But strict Feng-Shui experts get rid of them in the bedroom.
Water is killing the fire.Any sort of water is not allowed in the bedroom. Get rid of your trashy water fountain as water kills fire the passion which we definitely want in our sex life, right!?
No computers.Avoid any computers in your bedroom, it again disturbs the feminine energy. If you cannot get rid of this one hang a thick clothes over it.
Your bed is the center. The central space of the bedroom is of course the bed. So it’s important that it has a power position. Feng-Shui guidelines say the bed should be placed diagonally opposite to the entrance door. You should be able to see the door but not be in front of it. Do not sleep with your head toward the door. Have your headboard against a sturdy wall and your bed up off the floor with nothing underneath (!!!) as your subconscious knows what’s down there, and it brings up the feelings those objects spark for you. Do not sleep next to a window because Feng-Shui concepts say it disturbs the energies around you. You should also avoid having a mirror directly facing the bed. The mirror should not reflect the bed. Damn, I’ll need to arrange some things heretoo J
Also when it comes to your bed linen. Use natural fabrics. Silk, cotton, wool…
Colors. Feng-Shui experts highly recommend to choose warm colors (of course here the fire again). Best would be even yellow, it supposed to help with communication.
Accessories.I love this one. Remind yourself about the fire, how could that be symbolized best? Of course by candles, oil lamps and other warm lamps.
Red and copper. This is an interesting one: Feng-shui principles suggest placing a red object on the female night stand to increase eroticism in the female partner. On the male’s night stand place a tiny jar of copper scraps or something made of copper. Copper represents the male essence and enhances eroticism to its fullness. Really? Guess if you believe in it it may work for you.
Love corner. And if you want to go even further, you can enhance the sexual energy in your bedroom by placing a symbols in the right hand corner (from the entrance) of your bedroom to display symbols that activate the energy of love, such as a photograph of you and your loved one, a sculpture of lovers, or two sculptures, a heart shaped object, a crystal prism, a mobile, or a sensual painting.
Uff, there is lot’s I need to do myself. I have a blue grey wall in my bedroom, so might consider painting that one in a more warm color, but at least it seems I have intuitively placed my little altar in the back right corner of the room (the love corner). So at least that I did right. I am a little sad to get rid of the mirror, well let’s see. I think we don’t need to follow the Sexual Feng-Shui 100% accurately in order to spice up our bed life. I believe with the right mindset and intention of changing something in our love nest can be done much.
So I hope you got something out of this discourse in the sexual Feng-shui world. I would love to see you on my blog, where you’ll find extra information on this topic. And if you are not receiving my newsletter. Make sure to sign up for my pleasure list J
Have a wonderful day! Your Mariah xx
