Believe it or not, there are still people out there who love to read books. Are you one of them? Whether you enjoy a fragrant hard copy or a slick Kindle ebook – truth is: Books can move your world. Books can open our horizons and make us see ourselves and the world from different perspectives. That’s the main reason why I believe these ravishing tantra books on Conscious Sexuality may be of service!

Reading is the cheap alternative for personal development. You can make great savings on expensive workshops, flight tickets and coaching fees. Cause you can also learn it all from home, step-by-step, by yourself. Of course, you’ll need a kind of ninja-like focus and discipline. Although workshops and coaches do have their place, don’t get me wrong, I am a coach myself. And sometimes 1 hour of coaching or a magical group retreat in Bali can take you miles further than 10 years of book reading. Just saying!

I have collected for you my personal 10 favorite kick-ass tantra books to enlighten your knowledge on Conscious Sexuality (this list is a work in progress list, let me know if you have one book you would like me to add to this list):

New to reading Tantra Books? This might be your best choice!

As a person new to exploring your sexuality, “Tantra – The Art of Conscious Loving” by Charles and Caroline Muir is for you. It will give you a better understanding of Western Neo-Tantric philosophy. Not only do Charles and Caroline explain it in clear, easy to understand language, they take it a step farther and give many examples to make this a true self-help book. I would recommend this tantra book to every couple looking to take their relationship to the highest attainable level.

Tantric bliss for contemporary folks

If you think sexual and spiritual bliss can’t be found in today’s fast-paced world, you haven’t experienced “Urban Tantra”. This is “sacred sex for the twenty-first century”. With a juicy mix of erotic how-to and pleasure-centered spiritual wisdom, acclaimed sex educator Barbara Carrellas radically updates the ancient practice of Tantra for modern sexual explorers desiring to push past their boundaries in search of the great cosmic orgasm.

Must read for women

Learn how to increase your pleasures with Taoist sexuality. The book “The Multi-Orgasmic Woman” unites the secrets of an Eastern spiritual master, Mantak Chia, the leading teacher of Taoist sexuality, and the health knowledge of a Western physician, Rachel Carlton Abrams, MD.

Thanks to the tailor-made techniques and exercises that will increase chi or “life energy,” you will learn how to reach intense, prolonged, whole-body orgasms. This is a book to help all women reach their true sexual potential—and discover a more blissful and fulfilling way of living in their bodies.

Must read for men

“The Multi-Orgasmic Man” is the counterpart of the previous book, and, in my opinion, is a must-read for every conscious man who is interested in the path to multiple orgasms. It actually goes way beyond simple orgasm! The book also presents all the information in a way that both the spiritual seeker and the scientific nerd can appreciate.

Another must read for men (and Women)

I keep recommending “The Way of the Superior Man” by David Deida to both my male and female clients. It’s a classic for men (but also for women it’s of great value) and it has probably the highest number of positive Amazon reviews in this niche. This is a great starting point if you are ready to embrace the art of loving. If you are on the conscious sexuality and relationship path, David Deida is a teacher you wanna study inside out.

Ladies, if you want to go deeper with David Deida

“Dear Lover” is a great book especially for women who are committed to studying every aspect of the feminine – spiritually, sexually, in life itself. It’s written as a collection of letters from a man to his dear lover. You’ll learn how to pick a man of deep integrity, what sexual essence is, when it’s time to end a relationship and how to deal with an absent man. It helped me BIG time when I was struggling with my own relationship.

If you want to learn more about open relationships

“The Ethical Slut” is a practical guide and kick-ass eye-opener for freeing your own limitations and viewpoints. It made me the slut I am today 🙂 and is full of great information on communication, jealousy, and asking for what you want. It’s a starting point for everyone who is interested in alternative relationship concepts.

Sex as a path to enlightenment

Osho is a Tantric pioneer and Guru of the hippy generation. As controversial as he is, he also brought out some enlightening wisdom. In my opinion “Tantra – The Supreme Understanding” is a wonderful introduction to what Tantra actually is (Spoiler: not just ecstatic sex)!

Another orgasm revolutionizer

The “Tantric Orgasm for Women” provided even more information than I thought possible! Diana Richardson is a pioneer in the Western Tantric realm. This tantra book is easily readable and doable. This has changed my sex life and many other women’s’ lives too.

A magic map to understanding the opposite sex

Dr. John Gray’s world-renowned, tried-and-tested relationship guide “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus” is a foundation work. He sets common beliefs straight, and in fun ways guides you to understanding the opposite sex.
